3rd Book News, Updates, and The Wolf of Oren-yaro Announcement

Well, guys, boy do I have some news. Please don’t hit me.

The bad news is that “Mongrel” (working title), sequel to The Ikessar Falcon, is going to be delayed. Which I’ve kind of said before. But let me assure you, the manuscript is complete! I’m not pulling a GRR Martin here! It’s actually really awesome and people die and it’s fun (probably not in that order) but you’ll have to wait a while (not too long) before I can give you a solid date.

As well, The Ikessar Falcon will be getting pulled down for edits. So it won’t be available to buy online anymore.

So, onto the good news and why this is all happening. I’m pleased to announce that The Wolf of Oren-yaro and its sequels have been picked up by Orbit Books! O̶h̶ ̶m̶y̶ ̶G̶o̶d̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶y̶ ̶a̶r̶e̶ ̶s̶t̶u̶c̶k̶ ̶w̶i̶t̶h̶ ̶m̶e̶  I am nothing but grateful for the tireless effort of my editor, Bradley Englert, and my agent, Hannah Bowman, as well as to the rest of the Orbit team. I also want to thank my friends over at The Fantasy Inn and The Weatherwax Report, and their generosity that got the word on this series out in the first place.

I’m thrilled and excited to be embarking on this new adventure! Look for more announcements to come in the future!
