I finished Aina’s Breath, the sequel to Jaeth’s Eye, this weekend.
Finished it, despite a full-time job, kids, personal stress, and other things. I’m not sure how. I think I’ve acquired a permanent tic in my eye, and my fingers have been shaking more than usual, and I’ve significantly forgotten what it was like to do anything but write or think about writing in my free time, but whatever. It’s done.
I don’t have a synopsis yet and I’m going to let it sit for a few weeks while I wrap up the final editing job for my upcoming YA paranormal, Birthplace. But I’m pretty confident that I can have this one polished and ready for formatting by summer. We do have a pretty busy schedule over at World Tree, though, so it may not get published until late this year or early next year.
By then, I’m hoping to have made significant progress on the third book, Sapphire’s Flight.
